SARCOMA UK AND PEKING TO PARIS
Ramada Hatfield are proud to support the efforts of Antony and Daniel Woodcock as they drive from 'Peking to Paris' in honour of their father, Louis Peter Woodcock, in aid of Sarcoma UK.
The hotel have placed Sarcoma donation envelopes in every guest room and there is also a cash collection box on the bar.

On Friday 1st March six members of the Ramada Hatfield Hotel team slept in rough in cardboard boxes in the outdoor carpark of the Galleria Shopping Centre in Hatfield to raise money for the YMCA SPACE charity.
Other local business & individuals also participated in this annual YMCA Sleep Easy charity event and all teams had to build a cardboard structure to sleep in and could decorate their structure. General Manager Howard Dunn judged the "most elaborate struture" and "best decorated box" competition as well as participating. The Ramada Rangers team of Kellie, Christine, Beverley, Rhiannon, Mike & Howard have currently raised £505 for the YMCA. If you would like to donate please visit the following link:

Skydive for Macmillan Cancer
Well done to Urvie Desai, our Sales Manager at Ramada Hatfield, who bravely completed a skydive for Macmillan Cancer on 6th October 2012 raising £736 for the charity.
"Having seen how somebody can suffer from cancer, and the impact it has on their families, I wanted to do something to raise money for a charity such as Macmillan who help and support both, the patient and family.
I thought of doing a skydive to raise money and altogether managed to raise £736.00!"

London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 16th September
Ramada Hatfield's Maintenance Manager Mike Kennedy took on the daunting task of the London to Brighton Bike Ride on 16th September 2012 in aid of Hatfield YMCA SPACE Community & Youth.

- Friday 6th July - Held a fantastic dinner dance in aid of Macmillan Cancer. A joint venture with the Hertfordshire Sports Village.
- Sunday 8th July - Raised £160 during the Olympic Torch Relay for YMCA Space Hatfield from selling burgers and hot dogs and by holding a car wash.
